Bulk cargoes (Fertilizer and Sugar) before discharging our inspector carry out visual inspection for any moisture, water infiltration, discoloration, caking or any pulp, to make sure cargo in good condition before commenced discharge. Also carry out visual inspection discharging equipment – Conveyor belt, Hopper, to make sure no residue of previous cargo, or any rain water or any snow inside Hopper. if discharging in truck make sure truck in good condition.
During discharging activities our inspector continuously monitoring, cargo quality observation, if any contamination seen inspector will stop discharge for further investigation until full satisfaction of quality, if any damage informed all partis concern, stop operation, asses quantity of cargo damaged, issue letter of protest. Inspector also monitor during discharge any caking, pulp, discoloration, moisture, water infiltration, foreign material. If anything seen, after taking picture, if necessary, stop operation for further inquiry. Inspector also look for any foreign material like loose rust, oil/grease, stains. results of which are passed to Master and chief officer.
Our inspector taking picture all activities during discharge of cargo, if any unusual circumstances occurred after taking picture informed and send report to receiver.
